Contact

So you want to reach out? Great. We actually read our emails, unlike those companies that send your support tickets into the digital void.

One Email, Real Humans

That’s it. No fancy contact forms that mysteriously disappear, no chatbots pretending to be helpful, no phone trees that lead nowhere. Just good old-fashioned email that lands in an inbox we actually check.

What We Want to Hear About

Got a VPN horror story that needs to be told? Send it over. We collect these like trading cards, and the really good ones might end up in our reviews as cautionary tales.

Found a VPN service that’s actually decent and think we missed it? Tell us. We’re always testing new services, and reader recommendations often lead to our best discoveries.

Disagree with something we wrote? Bring it on. We’re not ego-driven tech bros who can’t handle criticism. If we screwed up or missed something important, we want to know about it.

Have a specific VPN question that’s keeping you up at night? Fire away. We might not be able to answer every individual email with a personal consultation, but common questions often turn into tutorials that help everyone.

Spotted a technical error in one of our guides? Please, please tell us. Nothing’s worse than outdated information when it comes to security and privacy. We fix mistakes fast when we know about them.

Working on VPN-related research or journalism and need a quote or some technical insight? We’re happy to help legitimate journalists and researchers who are trying to shed light on privacy issues.

What We Don’t Want

Please don’t email us trying to sell your VPN service or asking for a “partnership opportunity.” We don’t do paid reviews, sponsored content, or any of that affiliate marketing nonsense that’s ruined most VPN review sites.

Skip the PR pitches about your “revolutionary new VPN technology” or your “military-grade encryption that’s totally different from everyone else’s.” We’ve heard it all before, and frankly, most of it is marketing garbage.

Don’t send us legal threats because we gave your VPN service a bad review. We stand behind our testing and our opinions. If you think we got something factually wrong, send us the evidence and we’ll look into it. But intimidation tactics just make us more suspicious.

Response Times

We’re a small team, so don’t expect instant responses like you’re chatting with Amazon customer service. We typically get back to people within a few days, sometimes sooner if it’s urgent or particularly interesting.

Complex technical questions might take longer because we actually research our answers instead of copying and pasting from a script. We’d rather give you a thoughtful response than a quick but useless one.

If you don’t hear back within a week, your email probably got eaten by spam filters or buried under an avalanche of VPN company PR pitches. Feel free to try again.

The Fine Print

By emailing us, you’re giving us permission to use your questions or experiences in our content, obviously without identifying you personally unless you specifically say it’s okay. Sometimes reader questions spark great tutorial ideas or reveal problems we hadn’t considered.

We’re not lawyers, so don’t ask us for legal advice about VPN usage in your specific situation or country. We can point you toward general information and resources, but anything involving actual legal consequences needs a real lawyer, not a bunch of VPN nerds.

We’re also not tech support for whatever VPN service you’re having trouble with. Contact your VPN provider’s support team first. If they’re useless (which happens more often than it should), then tell us about it so we can factor their terrible customer service into future reviews.

That’s It

Email us. We’ll read it. If it’s interesting, useful, or important, we’ll respond. If it’s spam, threats, or sales pitches, we’ll delete it and move on with our lives.

Real conversations about online privacy and VPN technology are always welcome. The internet needs more honest discussion about these topics and less marketing bullshit masquerading as information.
